“A monumental framework of green marble projects from the sheer cubic volume of Indiana limestone.  Each bay but one contains a screen of white marble panels set in bronze mullions.  Over the door, a limestone slab inscribed with the bank’s arms replaces the marble.  The effect within resembles that of a Japanese shoji screen.  Dim light penetrates through the translucent white marble into the tall teak-lined banking hall.”
