NOTE:  THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

As part of the perennial favourite Doors Open Ontario program, the Ontario Heritage Trust will continue exploring spaces and places in Ontario in a special panel talk and tour of Waterloo Region’s mid-century modern buildings on Saturday, December 8 from 10 am to 1:30 pm.

This FREE event will kick-off at the Martin Luther University College in Waterloo, with a panel talk featuring Professor Rick Haldenby, University of Waterloo, and Alex Bozikovic, Architecture Critic at The Globe and Mail who will share with attendees the significance of mid-century modern architecture in Ontario, an overlooked aspect of the province’s built heritage.

Following the talk, Professor Haldenby will take event attendees on a guided tour of several buildings around Kitchener-Waterloo that represent the Mid-century Modern style for an up-close and behind-the-scenes look. Transportation will be provided.

Space for this panel talk and tour is limited – 80 spots are available. Don’t miss out! Please RSVP to reserve your place.
