Kiwanis Bandshell
Tecumseh Park, Chatham, ON.
CONSTRUCTED 1965
“This soaring, sculptural performance design is an excellent example of Joe [Storey]’s belief in engaging with your surroundings. From the centre line of the bandshell, one could draw two dramatic diagonals straight to the Armouries on one side… and pedestrian bridge and cenotaph on the right, fully engaging with the rest of the park.”
